With two hours to go in the Mazda Raceway California 8 Hours, third round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, it’s still all Audi at the front. After a third safety car intervention brought the leaders back together at the end of the fifth hour, the top-5 is still on the lead lap.
It’s still the #29 Audi Sport Team Land R8 leading the race, from the Audi Sport Team Magnus car and the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT R8. Apart from during the pitstops the green-and-white car led all the way, and gradually increased its lead.
In the Pro-Am category the #54 Black Swan Racing Porsche has held on to its one lap-lead on the #77 Calvert Dynamics / GMG Racing Porsche, while the #3 TRG Aston Martin has a firm grip on the GT4 lead as well. The #26 Rearden Racing Porsche has climbed up to second with two hours to go.
